Have you tried Uwajimaya or 99 Ranch market? The ramen selection in those two stores is amazing. I've never seen a whole aisle dedicated to ramen in any regular supermarket.In general, ramens are deep fried (to dry the fresh noodles) before package. Some brands just fry the noodles (noodles look white) while other brands seem to have a coating (noodles are slightly colored) after frying. You'll find both types in those two markets.
Edit... It's been a long time since I've eaten ramen.
Kung Fu brand is is preflavored... It's in a blue and orange package.
